Pinhole Movie Reviews

Leon Morin, Priest / Léon Morin, prêtre by tincolor

Jean-Paul Belmondo is a young handsome priest in occupied France who clearly doesn’t understand that spending lots of time with single women makes things complicated. In fact, all in all, this is one complicated movie. The story isn’t hard to follow, but there doesn’t seem to be one single theme that defines this movie either: Why have faith in God? What defines a moral person? Do duty and self have to be at odds?  The plot movies along at a leisurely pace in this philosophical film. Worth checking out.
