Pinhole Movie Reviews

Julie & Julia by tincolor

Amy Adams is a self-absorbed woman in her 30s who decides to make all of the recipes in a book by Meryl Streep. At numerous points throughout this movie, probably whenever the plot switched to the Amy Adams part, I found myself wishing I could just watch a movie about Julia Child. I found it incredibly annoying that, while this is a movie essentially about food, Amy Adams never really talks about her food because she’s too busy talking about herself. Watchable.

Yeah, agreed. Also, while the men aren’t important, Stanley Tucci is miles better than that Mark Ruffalo knock off guy. He had no personality whatsoever!
