A flight attendant with a checkered past must trick both the cops and the robbers after she gets busted carrying 50K on behalf of a ruthless LA gun runner.  This slick crime drama, an homage to blaxpoitation films from the 70s, easily ranks as my favorite Tarantino film (other than Pulp Fiction, of course.)  It’s a lot more subtle and interesting than his later work — and the main character is a black, working class woman, which is a rarity in itself. Worth Watching.
