Two brother tigers in 1920s Thailand are separated when when famous hunter Guy Pearce kills one of their parents. The cubs then have various interactions with people before they are finally reunited and teach the audience that colonialism is bad. I usually hate any movie that treats animals as if they were humans. But this movie was surprisingly watchable. Guy Pearce’s story is actually pretty interesting. And the resolution isn’t nearly as preachy as I was dreading it would be. Very watchable.

Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Guy Pearce and Charlize Theron go in to space to solve the greatest mystery of all, what was that elephant looking alien in the first Alien movie? As far as sci-fi movies go, this is an fantastic movie, everything from the technology to the characters and even the alien monsters all seem to exist naturally, everything has a reason to be there. The story, unfortunately, stumbles. I’d say that the biggest fault is that this crew of “scientists” is about the least scientifically curious group of people imaginable. A very high worth checking out. Also, this is only the second movie I’ve seen in 3D that I actually appreciated the 3D. The other is Pina.
