An elderly French woman rapidly loses her health after suffering a stroke. So, her husband takes care of her in a sweet and tender way, until she dies. Along with Michael Haneke’s heartbreakingly sad vision of love, the lack of action and conflict really limits the watchability of the film. It isn’t until the final few minutes that the director requires us to think. Great film, probably will never watch it again. Watchable.
